A vulnerability assessment was done prior on the beginning of Adaptation Learning Center (ALC) project. This assessment main theme was to address the core climatic problem people are facing in char kukri-mukri area which represents the vulnerable climatic condition of total southern coastal part of Bangladesh and to suggest some suitable adaptation techniques for changing climate, vulnerable condition keeping in mind that coastal rural poor livelihood condition.

This assessment carried out from 12th to 19th February, 2025. Around 24 students from different public and private universities and of different subjects participated in this assessment. Students were grouped in 4-6 groups tagged with a local tour guide to collect field data more precisely to create a sustainable climate change adaptation idea to improve the situation. All the groups presented their ideas and best idea generation group was rewarded by honorable VC of PSTU, DLO of Bhola district and UNO of charfashion upazila in inception workshop.
